Wonder if it's fair to say "joining" mFT if they're only going to make all manual lenses just with a mFT mount. But I hope it's the case so we can use them on the Nex with potentially big Schneider image circles <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='  ' />

I wasn't thinking straight, and to be honest I doubt I'll get any serious lens without AF for m4/3. The MF experience just isn't there for me on that system. So I not only hope it is full AF/electronic aperture, but it is decent performing AF too.

My understanding is the GH[2/1] provide excellent manual focus experience; though i've only played with a GH1 in a shop for a few minutes. If the GH2 becomes affordable I might pick one up in the fall.

What is the problem anyway ? A Live-View centric system is excellent for MF. That said AF is, of course, more convenient.

On the E-P1 specifically, it is the low resolution screen and horrible button combo to get zoomed view. And for the main native lenses, the focus by wire feels horrible too. But body IS of Olympus more than makes up for those minor flaws, which is also why Panasonic are not an option to me. And before you go there, I'm not a big fan of EVF either <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='  ' /> All considered, I'm still waiting for the "ideal" mirrorless system but it is early days still.

There's several ways I can read that question, but personally for me, I want the biggest LCD on the back of the smallest body. No tiny viewfinder to stick my eye up to, optical or electronic. But if pushed, I might not say no to the X100 style.

That Fuji can easily offer a rangefinder style OVF because it has no exchangable lens. So, mirrorless, yes. No mirrorless exchangable lens system though...
