Landscape photographer of the year

Hi,

Discovered these on the beeb. Many of the pictures are outside the usual box. Enjoy.

Interesting set, which caused me to wonder exactly where the box lies. How much can you have in the foreground before that becomes dominant? I guess this is why in part on dA sometimes I find it very hard to decide which category to submit into...

Seeing the one with breakfast in it was bad though, it's made me really hungry and its still another hour before the work cafe opens for breakfast!

Thanks for sharing. It is interesting collection that deserves to spend one evening at least. Even if I know that staying behind PC is not nice for family life.

Greetings,

I liked them.

But on the first picture, I think I would have moved the camera a little to the right. Did anyone else think that?

But otherwise, really great work in my opinion <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Agree with you. The castle is too central.

I don't know why they always list this pictures as first, while this is the worst picture from this author.

The compo is not perfect. The light is just good not spectacular. Moment is nice but not perfect.

The main subject is interesting but not super eye catcher.

However the author has very very nice portfolio.

Wow... For some photos may agree with the critics but in any case they make me feeling going to England again... <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />
