Bokeh galore
#1
It's a lamp made from calabash. It was not really lightening like a lamp but that was not the intention (for me at least)...

Zeiss 50mm 1.4 T* ZF.2 on D90.

F/2, 1/125, ISO=400

Very pretty lamps - I wouldn't mind having one of those. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Also a good subject for a photo, very eyecatching colours; I'm kind of in two minds about the upper part with cables and stuff though. I might have tended to frame it to show more space in the lower half, or underexpose it slightly and have more of the room and black out the cables.

If you liked them, I suggest you to visit Bodrum peninsula (this was taken during my vacation in south-west of Turkey [Image: cool.gif]). They sell it almost everywhere... My wife bought one but now I understand that to get the same impression you have to buy many of them.

Regarding the framing: you're right... It could be better framed during the shot. But it was evening and very dark, I couldn't see the cables (or better said was -manual- focused on the colorful lights)... I underexpose in post processing but the feel of space and DoF was gone and bokeh quality got worse.
