Super dwarfish but obviously very decent.

This lens makes me want to buy into m4/3. If Olympus would just come out with an EVF camera. Or maybe when the G2 reviews are out and prices drop.
#4
Interestingly both the 9-18mm as well as the Pana 7-14mm are not distortion-corrected. The charts look pretty much the same in LightZone (which does not apply auto-correction). Possibly the higher price tags help to do the real thing.

Is this a hint that there will be a Pana 7-14 review soon??

Klaus, dpreview indicated in both 7-14 & 9-18 reviews that distortion were corrected and their supplied distortion grids seem to prove it.

Olympus at 9mm we go from +4.7 to +1.41% ; Panasonic at 7mm we go from +3.4% to -0.14%.

Or am I reading something wrong?

Greetings,

S.

Hmmh, I don't get 0.14% from the Pana lens here. I will give it a try with a different RAW converter. Maybe LightZone applies auto-correction by now.

After a quick check, other reviews go in dpreview direction. I suppose Lightzone corrects them now.
