Given that a couple of years ago many said that Sony APS-C line wouldn't be developed...

Of course the interesting thing will be prices. Too bad the a6100 EVF is not XGA...

The 70-350G is a nice idea. Doesn't seem to be as brick-like as the Fuji 100-400mm.

Looks like Sony is in the full Santa mode for those who had given up all hope...

First the (much clamored for) 35/1.8 and then this. Granted, since many people only care about FF this 16-55/2.8 isn't such a legendary unicorn like that 35, but I remember there was much moaning about how Sony must provide this lens ("or else").

Depends on how much wider the FOV gets at MFD, if this design is a better idea than that Fuji? If it is like the Canon EF 70-300mm L, I'd pass.
